Breast Imaging Fellowship

During the yearlong breast imaging fellowship you will be exposed to all imaging modalities and breast-related procedures including:

Screening mammography
Diagnostic mammography
Breast and axillary ultrasound
MRI of the breast
Ductography
Cyst aspirations
Fine needle aspirations
Imaging-guided biopsies, including stereotactic-, ultrasound- and MRI-guided
Preoperative wire localizations

As a fellow, you will also participate in weekly interdisciplinary breast health conferences, weekly radiology-pathology conferences and a biweekly resident teaching and breast imaging conference.

You will be exposed to administrative issues including patient tracking in breast imaging, medical audit, ACR accreditation and FDA inspections.
